Description
Hipoges Hellas is looking for a Compliance & AML Officer to join our growing team in Greece and support all compliance, regulatory, and anti-money laundering efforts. This role plays a vital part in ensuring Hipoges Hellas meets its obligations under Greek and EU regulations.Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of the company’s compliance and AML policies
- Ensure full compliance with Greek and European regulatory requirements (Bank of Greece, GDPR, etc.)
- Act as the main point of contact with regulators and supervisory authorities
- Develop, implement, and update internal policies, procedures, and monitoring systems to mitigate compliance and AML risks
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance, ethics, and AML-related issues
- Monitor and report suspicious activities in line with AML legislation
- Prepare regular compliance and risk assessment reports for senior management
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s or professional certification preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in Compliance, AML, or Risk Management within Financial services, Banking or any relevant field
- Strong knowledge of Greek and EU AML/CTF regulations, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience engaging with regulators and senior stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken)
