Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Join TORA as an Accountant and help manage complex transactions, reconciliations, and support our financial operations!
What your day to day will include:
- Handling the accurate registration and calculation of all financial transactions and fixed assets and postings to General Ledger and SAP.
- Issuing or collecting invoices according to business requirements and assessing their compliance with processes and contracts
- Ensuring accurate tax assessment and treatment of financial transactions, including VAT rates, tax codes, and withholding tax obligations, in compliance with applicable legislation
- Preparing and uploading forecast files related to TORA payment projections.
- Maintaining an updated asset register and calculating asset depreciation.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate allocation of costs for all transactions and payments to the appropriate departments to support effective cost control.
- Managing myDATA compliance, ensuring accurate data transmission, resolving discrepancies, and reconciling records with accounting books, VAT returns, and E3 reporting data
- Reconciling various accounts accurately and on time, including SAP records, financial transactions, and receivable/payable balances.
- Participating in the annual closing of accounting books and the preparation of the yearly balance sheet
- Supporting accounting reporting, transaction archiving and ad-hoc assignments according to business needs.
- Managing the archiving of financial transactions to ensure data availability, accuracy, and security.
What you’ll bring:
- BSc degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related Finance field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software and SAP (ideally S4HANA)
- Solid numerical and reporting skills
- Very good organizational and time management skills
- High level accuracy, good attention to detail and methodical approach
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
